Student Recruitment

Deciding which course to take and where to study is a difficult decision for prospective students. To make the best decision it is essential that prospective students and their parents and advisers have easy access to accurate and up-to-date information about institutions and Higher Education in general.

We are here to help, support and advise Local, Regional and International Students, their parents, teachers and advisers. We strive to provide information and advice in a friendly and efficient manner and in doing so we hope that students are able to make an informed decision about their future.

LOCAL STUDENTS
For our local students ILAS is strategically located to allow access from all corners of Trinidad and Tobago. As such there is never a need to leave the comfort of one’s home in order to seek accommodations closer to the school. Our Tobago students make the trip from Tobago every Saturday with much success.

REGIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The Regional and International students however, should be guided by the following which can be used as a checklist:

        • You must obtain a student’s visa
        • You must obtain accommodations
  • Budgeting for living costs is an important part of planning

You must consider the following:

  • cost of accommodation
  • daily living expenses
  • cost of your tuition fees and London fees

Planning your budget will depend on the type of accommodation selected and your own spending habits.
Below we provide an estimate of average costs for accommodation and living expenses for 2010/2011.
Note that these costs do not include tuition fees.
