Meet the faculty
Dr. Gail Narinesingh
Dr. Gail Narinesingh is Senior Lecturer and Principal of the institution. She has held these positions since the institution opened its doors in 1999. Dr. Narinesingh is a seasoned educator having had the opportunity to shape and inspire the lives of many for over twenty (20) years. Dr. Narinesingh holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London. She has also pursued the Master of Laws (LLM) with the same university. Having worked unstintingly and selflessly for two decades, Dr. Narinesingh was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Law (LLD) from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom on July 12th 2010. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Laws with the University of Liverpool.
Dr. Narinesingh is a committed professional who has struck the perfect balance between academic training and mentorship. She is well-known and highly respected for her inimitable pedagogical approach to education. As a result, students have enjoyed unbridled success. This very humble individual has produced numerous attorneys-at-law and guided several others to other fields, including politics.
Mr. Reagan H. Rowans
Mr. Rowans has been a lecturer at the institution since 2007 and now holds the position of Vice-Principal. Mr. Rowans is a qualified attorney-at-law and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London. He also earned a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from Hugh Wooding Law School, St. Augustine and is presently completing his Master of Laws (LLM) with the University of London.
Prior to his tenure at the institution, Mr. Rowans served as a teacher at Barrackpore West Secondary School. There he was awarded the Teacher's Award just after one (1) year. Mr. Rowans is also a national scholarship awardee.
Mr. Rowans has obdurate passion and commitment to his students and the study of law. He is proactive, avant-garde and results-oriented. Undeniably, this has lead to the huge successes enjoyed by students every year. Courses taught by Mr. Rowans include: Criminal law, EU law, Jurisprudence and Legal Theory, Civil and Criminal Procedure, Evidence and most recently, Public Law. Mr. Rowans also spearheads the Law Skills Portfolio – Pathways 1 & 2.!
Ms. Kurcelia Moore
Ms. Moore's tenure at the institution commenced in 2007. Ms. Moore hails from the beautiful isle of Tobago. She has earned a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of London and is currently pursuing the Master of Laws with the University of Liverpool. Prior to lecturing at the institution, Ms. Moore worked at the Tobago House of Assembly.
Courses taught by Ms. Moore include: Common Law Reasoning and Institutions, Succession and Law of Torts. She also teaches Advanced level law.
